Where is the crankshaft position sensor located on 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2L?

The crankshaft position sensor is mounted behind the passenger side cylinder head, under the transmission dipstick tube, into the top of the bell housing.

The camshaft position sensor is located under the distributor cap. If you remove the cap, you will feel a plastic plate under it. Pull up on it and it will come loose. Unplug it from the wire connector.
