Did Claude Monet try to kill himself?

There is no evidence to suggest that Claude Monet ever attempted to take his own life. Monet did face personal and professional challenges throughout his life, including financial difficulties and the loss of loved ones, but there is no record of any suicide attempts. Monet continued to paint and create art until his death in 1926.
