No. Architectural Photography requires control over converging vertical lines. Anytime you shoot a building and don't hold the camera perfectly perpendicular to the building's surface, the vertical surfaces of the building willh converge making it look like it's leaning in the picture. You need 1) a view camera with tilt, shift & swing lens plate and ground glass, or 2) perspective control lenses for the D5000, which run over $1000 a pop.
