yes the food is included it comes at a buffet for lunch and breakfast but for dinner they have a restaurant you can go to

Yes, almost all of the food on a Carnival cruise is free. There are certain restaurants you need to pay for but over half are free. The poster above me is correct, and I think you can go to any of the restaurants at anytime unless you've chosen YourTime dining.
