What is the difference between medical staff and administrative staff?

At a hospital or clinic, medical staff would be those people who deal with patients and their symptoms directly--doctors, nurses, medical technicians. Administrative staff would do pretty much the same thing that administrative staff in any company do--scheduling, answering phones, sweeping floors, delivering mail.
