How do the characteristics of the viceroy butterfly aid in its survival?

There are many, but 3 that I'm aware of.

1- Camouflage

2- Wing patterns that look like huge eyes (to fool birds and other predators)

3- Poison -Some like the Monarch, are actually poisonous, and others mimic them to fake predators out into thinking they're poisonous
