What happen if you wash diamonds?

it really depends where or what kind of diamonds they really are if its on clothes or shoes then dont because it seriously could harm your clothes and they could start falling off if it is just a ordinary diamond nothing on it sure wash it but if it is on jewlerry and you want to wash it dont do that instead just use a wet damp cloth or some wet wipes because who know what might happen to it it possibly could fall off washinbg it normally...
