What is wrong when you step on the gas and there is no power on a 2006 Chrysler 300?

replace the catalytic converter, on this type of vehicles they run from $80.dollars to almost $300. because they are four different kind, depends what Chrysler you have like the all wheel drive, an so on my drift? does your car hesitate on the freeway? do you hear a whistling noise, also sometime they don't pick up speed right away because the catalytic converter is clogged up.so instead of the exhaust flowing straight out threw the muffler it is returning back into the engine block, and it will damage your valves if it is driven for several months

Could also be low fuel pressure, plugged air filter,
