Polar bears and penguins live on and around ice caps. They've adapted (adjusted) to this climate, and can't live elsewhere except when captured by zoo workers and taken to the zoo (which they prefer not to do). Global warming is melting the ice caps, leading to the deaths of millions of polar bears and species of penguins. Thus, because of all of the deaths of these ice-loving organisms, they are both endangered.
