When did Perry Como first start singing?

Pierino "Perry" Ronald Como, or "Mr. C" as he was affectionately known, Sold millions of records for RCA and was seen weekly on television from 1949 until 1963. In 1932, at the age of 20, he took a dare and sang for Freddy Carlone and his orchestra. He was offered a job and toured with the band for the next three years.
