Why is police help so valuable to the community?

Their presence makes it to where you don't have to huddle in fear of being killed in your sleep or being stolen from and nobody to help you, they are the law enforcers they are to fight for truth justice and the American way, even though that isn't the case all the time we hope to have it happen as much as possible. They protect us, they put their lives on the line here in our own country to try and deliver justice.
