3 Magi: The 3 Magi were rich men who gave gifts to Jesus Christ. Theodora compares herself to them in that she's rich and gives to the people. The 3 Magi were also intellectuals. The Word Sophia in Greek means intelligent, it makes reference to the Hagia Sophia and to Theodora's wisdom.
