How do you remove the door panels on the jaguar x type?

I can do the rear door panels. Under the door handle, In the middle of the door is a round cover, prise this off and underneath is a screw, remove this. Then look to the bottom edge of the trim panel, near the front, another screw to remove. The panel is now just on with clips. I didn't do this - but it might help at this stage to pull off the inner window felt that runs along the top of the door frame. Pull it straight up (unless it is covered by the panel itself - sorry I haven't checked this! If you can get it off, that will give you more purchase on the top of the door panel. Start at the top front edge and pull straight out away from the door, work your way around the bottom, there are about 7 pretty strong plastic clips going into the door frame. A large flat bladed screwdriver might help control the pressure and avoid snapping the plastic clips. Some of these will probably break and remain in the door! When you get to the top you need to unclip the locking mechanism wire from the door handle - followed by the wires to the speaker (simple clip) and the wires to the window motor - this needs a little tweak with a screwdriver to unclip it but comes off really easily then. - That's it - the grey foam lining underneath is a different matter - it will rip to shreds when you try to remove it. PS - the window winder mechanism comes out after you have released the glass - look at the bottom edge of the glass, there is a hole in it through which a plastic ferrule is inserted - with the window half way down this will line up with a hole in the door, through which a small screwdriver will push the small middle peg out of the plastic ferrule, then you can remove the ferrule from the glass and lift the glass free. Undoing the 3 torx screws will free the winder motor mechanism which has to be twisted to the right (on the offside door - RHS) to remove from the frame. Hope this helps
