Where did all Mary Mackillops values come from?

Mary MacKillop's values were influenced by her devotion to God, her family upbringing, her experiences as a teacher and her encounters with the poor and marginalized members of society. She believed in the importance of education, social justice, and serving those in need, which drove her to establish the first religious order founded by an Australian, the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart.
