Do you need a license for a motor scooter?

Depends on the individual state and their state laws. Some states require special licensing ... all require proper head, arm and leg protection, which is only common sense. << not true! some states such as Hawaii and New Hampshire require zero protection at all i see people here in Hawaii with shorts and sandles. as far as lisence you only have to have a drivers lisence (not a moitorcycle lisence. but i don't even see that enforced as i see 14 year old kids on scooters all the time.
