What does pilkington and other humans having dinner with napoleon symbolize in animal farm?

This symbolizes the pigs stooping down to the human's level and socializing with them, eating with them , walking on two legs, carrying a whip, trading with the humans, etc. The pigs are doing exactly what they said they would never do at the beginning of the story.
