Where is the voltage regulator located on a 91 Yamaha g9 golf cart?

Open the seat and look on top of the left rear tire well. It has a four wire plug. You may find it easy to remove by loosening the two ten mill. hex head screws which are found above the left rear tire. Hope this helps.
