What is a LAD territory ischemia?

LAD territory ischemia refers to reduced blood flow to the area of the heart supplied by the left anterior descending (LAD) artery. This artery is crucial for delivering oxygen-rich blood to the anterior wall of the left ventricle, as well as parts of the interventricular septum. Ischemia in this territory can lead to chest pain, heart muscle damage, or even a heart attack if not addressed promptly.
