What is the best weapon to shoot up a school?

It doesn't take much firepower to shoot up a school, you can use more basic weaponry. You only need 2-3 guns, a pistol, assault rifle, and a decent shotgun (The shotgun is optional). The assault rifle is your primary weapon used for taking own larger groups of people, the pistol is perfect for stragglers within the group or if your primary has jammed or ran out of ammunition, the optional shotgun is good for taking down the more obese people.
