Can PETE be recycled

the pet bottles can be recycled and can be used once again in PET (polyethylene terapathalete) with a specific ratio as mentioned by the PCI.CCBL.and the filling plant excesive usage of recycled material can lose the property of carbonated drink or syrup filled in bottle.and cause the serious failure of test performed during production of pet bottle.
