Ambergris is the name of a whale excretion that is produced by the irritation caused by squid's beaks inside the stomach of the sperm whale. This excretion takes a rocklike form and is regarded as a very valuable commodity, since it's used for medicinal purposes, in the perfume industry as fixative and even as aphrodisiac. It's so rare and expensive, there are people who dedicate part of their life to search for this weird treasure along the beach lines.
