How do you clean a crested geckos tank?

hello, my gecko, spotty, passed on last friday. i was shocked by its death, which after much research, I found out that it is mandantory to clean its cage once a day. i thought this was way too often, since i already cleaned its cage every 3 days. but apparently it needs to be cleaned more often than i thought. i hope this helps, and good luck with your new gecko!
