Which goes first in tic tac to?

Traditionally whomever selects "X" would go first and then in subsequent games the winner of the previous game would go first.

I would also suggest a game of Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock where the winner of the best 2 out of 3 would get the privilege of going first in Tic Tac Toe.
