What is the highest safe dose of Vyvanse?

Currently the medication is available in doses of 20mg, 30mg, 40mg, 50mg, and 70mg capsules. The medication is designed to be taken orally once daily soon after waking up. The amount that you take per day should be determined by the prescriber (physician) and should not be adjusted without their consent. Usually the prescriber starts a patient on a low dose (30mg) and adjusts the dose on a weekly (or greater) basis by no more then ten milligrams (mg) at one time; the adjustment in dosing ends when the desired effects are present. Taking large quantities (even 1 or 2 tablets) of this medication at once is not advised and can have the same effects and side effects of any other central nervous system stimulant.
