How did Zeus defeat Cronus in Greek mythology?

Zeus defeated Cronus in Greek mythology by leading a rebellion of his siblings against their father. With the help of his brothers and sisters, Zeus overthrew Cronus and banished him to the underworld. This allowed Zeus to become the new ruler of the gods.
