What is a good score on the AMC 8?

A seventeen out of twenty five will normally put you in the top 5% of all test takers. In 2012, when I scored a 22, I had the lowest score possible to land in the top 1%. A thirteen was the lower limit of the upper quartile, and a 10 was the national average.
