What was the date that the x ray was discovered?

The X-ray was discovered on November 8th, 1895, by Bavarian physics professor Wilhelm Röntgen. He took the first actual X-ray picture around November 22nd of the same year; the subject was the hand of his wife, Anna Bertha.
