2. avoid touching reagent areas of strips, or touching tablets.

3. check expiry date

4.immerse strip fully in urine for time specified.

5. read at recommended time

6.the best results are obtained on fresh specimens

7.testing should take place within one hour of voiding

8.ensure bottle cap is replaced tightly, immediately after removing strip or tablet.
