Cloud Computing Trends

The cloud is the new name for local servers that companies such as Apple or Amazon own. The purpose of these servers is to free up space on your own computer by storing your online e-purchases in an account specific to you. That way if you purchase a song or e-book and accidentally delete it, you can go to your cloud and re-download the item without having to repurchase the item.
