How do you deal cards in poker?

In Poker, the dealer shuffles the deck of cards and then deals them one at a time to each player in a clockwise direction around the table. Each player receives a certain number of cards depending on the type of poker being played. The dealer may also place community cards on the table that all players can use to make their best hand.
