Campare and contrast characters of snowball and napoleon?

Both animals show strong leadership from the start of the novel, but they adopted their leadership in different ways. Snowball was a lot more relaxed with the other animals, so he actually got his power from being equal with the others. However Napoleon showed strong leadership by making the other animals feel scared, giving them stern looks. The quote 'Napleon was a rather fierce looking pig' shows how his appearence made the other anials scared of him.

Snowball was very good at speeches as the quote 'snowball was quick in speech' shows. He talked to the other animals as friends by using the Word 'Comrade'. The way in which snowball comunicated with the other animals defintately helped him with his fight for power. On the other hand, Napoleon wasn't very good at speeches, which is where the character Squealer came in. Napoleon used Squealer to do his dirty work as he was a very pusuasive pig'
