OF PURCHASE. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN IMPRESSED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE I GAINED
BY ASKING QUESTIONS AND DIGGING THROUGH THE OWNERS MANUAL WITH A SERVICE TECH.

THE BAJA WARRIOR WR65 IS A 6.5 HP 196 CC ENGINE. WHICH IS VERY SIMILAR TO A SUBURU
ENGINE. WHICH I THINK IS A CLONE FROM CHONGQING HENSIM ENGINES IN CHINA. BAJA IMPORTED THIS MAKE AND MODEL.
THATS BAJA MOTORSPORTS. THE IDLE SPEED FROM FACTORY SETS AT 1500 AT NORMAL TEMP.
SPARK GAP OF 0.6MM TO 0.7 MM. OIL TYPE SPECS ARE SAE 15W40. I USE A LIGHTER WEIGHT. 5W20.
SPARK PLUG TYPE. A7TC.10PSI FRONT AND BACK TIRE. 19+7+8 TIRE SIZE. FROM FACTORY SET-UP THIS BIKE IS VERY STRONG WITH UP AND DOWNLOAD. FACTORY SPEED IS 12 TO 15 MPH.
I KNOW WHAT YOUR SAYING. (THAT SUCKS). DONT GIVE-UP. I WILL HELP TO INCREASE THIS. MAXIMUM LOAD (WEIGHT OF DRIVER)
IS 250. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND A HEAVY PERSON TO DRIVE. IT IS POSSIBLE. CENTRIFICAL CLUTCH SHOULD --NEVER-- BE OILED.
IT NEEDS TO BE DRY TO CLAMP THE INSIDE FOR SPINING THE MAGNETO INSIDE. USE CLEAN UNLEADED GAS ONLY. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FOR GOVERNOR AND IDLE SPECS. (FOLLOW VERY CLOSELY) THE GOVERNOR IS USED FOR IDLEING THE BIKE ONLY. DO NOT SET GOVERNOR OVER 3500 RPM.
HEAT AND DAMAGE TO ENGINE WILL OCCUR IN TIME. 2200 IS GREAT. SAME AS A MOWER ENGINE IDLE.
THE GOVERNOR IS LOCATED UNDER THE GAS TANK. A WIDE SILVER FLAT BAR WITH A ROD CONNECTED TO IT. THIS ROD CONNECTS
THE BLACK SWIVEL OPENER TO THE CARB. YOU WILL SEE SPRINGS NEXT TO THE BAR.. MOVE THE BAR UP ONE NOTCH ON GOVERNOR,
FACTORY PRE-DRILLED HOLES ARE THERE FOR THIS REASON ON THE FLAT SILVER BAR WHICH IS THE GOVERNOR.
TAKE THE SPRING THAT IS OVER THE BAR AND SHORTEN ON BOTH ENDS WITH NEEDLE NOSE. MORE AIR = MORE POWER FROM CARB. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GAS TANK SHOULD NEVER BE FILLED ALL THE WAY. IT WILL NOT START. THERE IS A BOBBER INSIDE THAT SHOWS LEVEL OF GAS IN TANK. --ONLY--
FILL TANK UP TO 1 INCH FROM TOP. AIR WILL NEED TO FOLLOW INSIDE TANK WITH COVER ON THE TANK.
---FROM FACTORY SETTING THE BIKE WILL SWIGG GAS--- YOU CAN FIX THIS AND GET MORE POWER. LOOKING AT THE BACK RIGHT SIDE OF BIKE ON THE
GOVERNOR SIDE. LOOK BEHIND THE CARB. YOU WILL NOTICE A BLACK SQUARE PLASTIC TAB . TAKE THIS TAB OFF. POP IT OFF AND SEE THE SCREW WITH A SPRING BEHIND
IT. TURN THE SCREW CLOCK WISE 1 FULL TURN TO THE RIGHT. THIS WILL MAKE YOUR MUFFLER POP AFTER THROTTLEING UP. IT
WILL BE NORMAL. WITH THE SEAT REMOVED. THE THROTTLE CABLE THAT IS LOCATED BY AIR FILTER HOUSING ON TOP OF ENGINE.
TURN THIS ALL THE WAY OUT, BUT DONT TAKE IT OFF. THERE WILL BE A SPRING-LOADED SCREW NEXT TO THAT THROTTLE CABLE END.
TURN THIS SCREW ALL THE WAY OUT, BUT DO NOT TAKE IT OFF. YOU ARE GIVING ROOM FOR THE THROTTLE BAR ON TOP OF ENGINE TO MOVE.
MEANING MORE POWER ALL THE WAY WHEN THROTTLEING. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU WILL NEED TO ADJECT BRAKES IN BACK TO BE SNUGG WITH BRAKING. THE SCREW AT BACK OF BRAKE HOUSING IS MAKE FOR THAT.
MORE POWER MEANS MORE BRAKES. --DO NOT ADJUST THEM TOO TIGHT--. THEY WILL GIVE OUT FASTER.
ALWAYS CHECK OIL BEFORE STARTING. ON DIP STICK IT SHOULD --ALWAYS-- BE HALF WAY.
START BY CHOKING THE MOTOR FOR 2 MINITES AT COLD START. THEN MOVE CHOKE TO NORMAL POSTION.
--DO NOT-- REV-UP ENGINE IN A COLD CRANK STATE. ROD WILL BE THROWN. --AND THATS NOT GOOD--. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THEY SELL TORQUE CONVERTERS AT NORTHERN TOOL FOR THIS BIKE. IT REPLACES THE CENTRIFICAL WITH BELT DRIVE.
I HAVE NOT LOOKED INTO THIS. BUT AFTER THESE ADJUSTMENT ABOVE. YOU WILL BE DRIVING AT 31 MPH. I JUST CANT SEE 50 ON THIS BIKE.
