Would a 1983 350 engine work in a 1993 truck or will I need to reprogram the truck computer?

YES IT WILL FIT RIGHT IN THERE, But it will never run right. You would have to change a lot of stuff.

It would be nice if all you had to do was reprogram the computer. But there's more

to it then that. Wireing, fuel system, Distributor, Computor.
