What can you enchant with an enchantment table in minecraft?

You gain levels from mining coal or diamonds and smelting iron and gold or killing hostile mobs and then you select a tool at the enchanting table put it in the slot and pick the highest level one you can tell the levels by the number on the rectangle you can take the tool out and put it back in to try for a higher level enchantment you can surround you're enchanting table with bookshelves to make you're enchantment more powerful
