What high school did Nathaniel Hawthorne go to?

Nathaniel Hawthorne attended the Salem Latin School in Salem, Massachusetts. He enrolled there around the age of 9 and studied until he graduated in 1821. The school provided a classical education, which influenced his literary development. After high school, Hawthorne went on to study at Bowdoin College in Maine.
