How did Hugh glass die?

Hugh Glass, an American frontiersman and fur trapper, did not actually die from the injuries he sustained during his famous bear attack in 1823. Instead, he survived that ordeal and continued to live for several years afterward. Ultimately, Glass was killed by Native Americans in 1833 while he was exploring the territory near the Yellowstone River.
