Too Much TV?Have you ever started reading a book and then looked at the TV
and then just got attached to it? Well that is just what happens to
many kids in the U.S. The average family spends too much time
watching TV. Too much TV can cause eye problems and can
distract you very easily. In school many kids cant concentrate
because in their mind they are constantly thinking about the show
they saw.
You can prevent these things from happening to you by turning off your TV and leaving it off until you get time on the weekends.
Instead of watching TV you could listen to your music CDs.
The more time you spend watching TV, the greater your risk of
dying at an earlier age. If you stop watching TV you will most
likely start getting better at doing your homework.
For some people giving up the TV remote is big decision but all
you have to do is think that it is for your own good. I agree that
some people watch too much TV every day but I think it would be
okay to watch the news each morning and watch a show on
weekend nights. I believe that if you stop watching TV it will raise
your metabolism. Few people I saw watch TV all day long when
they have things to do and they wait until the last minute to do it.
If are thinking "If TV is so bad for you, then why do they still make them?" the answer is that TV is a great way to get money out
of people. The experts say that watching TV while you fall asleep
increases your stress and anxiety level. Also when you watch TV
many kids might come across a rated R film because violence,
crime and other inappropriate material is mainly shown on TV.
Some people stay up at late hours just to watch their favorite show!
TV is bad for you so warn your friends and family before its too
late!
