Is Tilda Swinton Galadriel in 'The Lord of the Rings'?

Galadriel appears in the first installment of The Hobbit movie but she does not appear in the Hobbit book. She appears in the movie when Gandalf, the dwarves and Bilbo visits RivenDELL in order to seek the counsel of Lord Elrond.
