Why does nicotine cause heart attack?

in the simplest terms possible illegal drugs will either slow your heart beat which is bad obviously because if it slows down too much you will die and if the drug is an upper such as cocaine ecstasy etc, your heart will beat faster and when you overdose on such a drug you'll have a heart attack and die.
