Dovepaw and Lionblaze from ThunderClan, Rippletail and Petalfur from RiverClan, Toadfoot and Tigerheart from ShadowClan, and Whitetail and Sedgewhisker from WindClan went to find the beavers that Dovepaw sensed. They went to find the beavers because of a drought.
