What is the difference between a stag and an antelope?

A pronghorn, which nearly every person in modern day life will call an antelope, is in fact a completely different and unique species than the antelope. Like I said, nearly every person these days will tell you it's an antelope but without knowing it those people are wrong. Just because the vast majority of people all agree on one this still doesn't change what it really is.
