2007 Chevy Equinox key won't turn?

if your key won't turn first make sure the steering wheel isn't locked and bound up. turn the wheel to relieve pressure both ways. if that doesn't do it then you may have a tumbler stuck in the ignition. first thing to do is lube it with a silicone or Teflon based spray lube and run the key in and out a few times and see if that frees it up. if not call a locksmith for a quote they are usually cheaper than a shop and mobile.
