What is the difference between kangaroos and amphibians?

Kangaroos and amphibians belong to two different vertebrate groups.

• Kangaroos are mammals with fur, and amphibians have moist skin.
• Kangaroos are warm-blooded and amphibians are cold-blooded.
• Kangaroos give birth to undeveloped live young which complete their development in a pouch. Almost all amphibians lay eggs, which undergo metamorphosis before the young become adults.
