Why was Vincent Van Gogh important?

Theodorus van Gogh, known as 'Theo' was the brother of world famous artist Vincent Van Gogh, but he was not only his brother, he was a very important figure in the tortured artist's life, because he was a great support for him, both, financially and morally.
