How do you put a water pump in a 3800 series 2?

The General Motors 3800 Series II engine came equipped across multiple platforms. The water pump is located on the side of the engine where the serpentine drive and accessory system is located. Removal will require the removal the belt and hand tools to unscrew the holding bolts. A new gasket and possibly sealer will also be needed to complete the install of the new pump.
