Amber Renee Hagerman (November 25, 1986-January 17, 1996) was a young girl who became a victim of an abduction and murder. The killer was never found. The Amber Alert laws are named after Amber Hagerman. Someone saw her being abducted. With the Amber Alert, the police can notify the public so that they will be able to look out for the missing child.
