What kind of affect does globalization have on religion in the US?

Globalization has challenged religion to be more relevant to diversity. It has challenged religious doctrines with respect to the validity of the information purported to be supreme and absolute truth. It has also challenged religion to demonstrate respect and tolerance of alternative perspectives.
