What came first goosebumps or fear street?

Technically there isn't a "first" and "second" but fear street was begun in the 1980's whereas goosebumps was started in the 1990's. but age-wise, Goosebumps are aimed at children between the approximate ages of 7/8 to 12 but anyone can read them, whereas ,arguably, Fear Street books are aimed at teenagers but one again, anyone can read them, but most parents probably wouldn't approve of their 8 year old child reading a Fear Street book due to the murder/violence.
