What do the Germans eat at Christmas?

German culture is full of Christmas tradition, and it would be hard to list all the treats and goodies. A roasted goose is about as important as a turkey is to Thanksgiving, and side dishes of potatoes and cabbages. There are cookie recipes galore, Spritz cookes made with a cookie press, Spreingere and Gingerbread are spicy. Sweet breads like Stollen and Lebkuchen with fruits and cinnamon are a must.
