How do you display formatting marks in Word?

Click on the paragraph marker on the standard toolbar.

Press and hold the Ctrl key and the Shift key and press the 8 key.

Go to the Tools menu, pick Options and the click on the View tab, and from there you can click to show the formatting marks you want.
